Testimony of Salvation
I was blessed to grow up in a wonderful, Christian home. My parents, second-generation missionaries serving overseas in Venezuela, South America, exemplified what living a life for Christ looked like and fostered the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That being said, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior somewhere around 6 years old. Because of my unique upbringing, I was able to witness first hand what it looked like to serve the Lord and in turn always had a desire to get into the ministry myself.

Similar to Ryan, I too was raised in a loving, Christian home. I personally accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at age five while saying my prayers before bed with my dad. I understood that there was only one God, that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, and that He came to earth and died on the cross so that my sins, and the sins of those who believe, would be forgiven. (John 3:16) I grew up in Amazonas, Venezuela because my parents were serving as missionaries with New Tribes Mission. In my parents, I witnessed first hand what it meant to be obedient to what Jesus asked of His disciples in Mathew 9:37-38 and want to be obedient as well.
