July Prayer Letter

Dear Family and friends
It seems way to soon to be starting a prayer letter, yet nevertheless here it is. Ryan and I were laughing the other day on how it is us writing these prayer letters after years of watching and being a part of the letters our parents wrote out.J
Once again we find ourselves completely in awe of Gods abundant love and provision for us. We’re excited to share with you all as we move into this new phase of our life God is leading us in. Since neither of us have been excellent in keeping up with all of you, we’re going to back up a bit so we can bring you up to speed on what He has been doing in our lives these past couple of years.
Ok, so for the last three years we have been living in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. I was finishing nursing school, (Yep, I finally graduated this past May with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing—I’m a full-fledged BSN-RN J) and Ryan finished up a double Associates in Aviation and General Education as well as completed his bible course requirements necessary to jump into the last two years of Moody Bible Institutes aviation program. It’s true, we’re professional students. J  During this time, we were both able to get plugged into a church and life group through the church, that we both loved and felt apart of.  As of recent, that church, Mitchell Berean, has chosen to partner with us in our journey, as we become mission field ready. We are so thrilled by this news. Nothing is more exciting than having a church who we’ve developed lifelong friendships in, grown closer to the Lord with, and just thoroughly been encouraged by, stepping out with us and committing to back us with prayer and financial support! So this, in a somewhat short summary takes you to where we are now…Spokane, Washington! Spokane is where Ryan will be starting Moody Aviation this coming July 11. Since Ryan already completed his Airframe & Powerplant license out in Nebraska, as well as the bible classes, he only needs Moody’s last two years of flight school in order to graduate.
God has proven faithful once again through placing the Swenson family in our lives. This couple, without having met us, has opened their home to us for the next three months until a lovely house their daughter and son-in-law are living in move away. Then, the Swenson’s are going to let us to move into that house for the remainder of our two years here. God is so good!!  I am in the process of getting my nursing license switched over to Washington State and then will begin pursuing a nursing position at one of the hospitals hopefully located near our area.
We sure do appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we get adjusted and plugged in to our new life here! Along with these newsletters, we are working on a blog, which we will be doing little updates on as well as hopefully sharing some pictures of our new life out here. Neither of us are tech savvy (especially me!) so bear with us. J  Please visit http://ryanandjennydawson.blogspot.com to stay updated on our journey and to subscribe to e-mail updates. There you can also find out information about how to support us financially. We are so excited to share in this adventure with you!

In Christ,
Ryan & Jenny
